Terms of receiving travel currency 1403/2024

Travelers planning international trips are eligible to receive a travel allowance. As per the Central Bank’s decree, the amount of foreign currency allocated for travel this year varies between 300 and 500 euros/dollars depending on the mode of transport. For land travel in 2024, the allowance is set at 300 euros, while air travel is capped at 500 euros.

To claim the travel allowance, you’ll need to provide the following documents:

• Original and copy of your visa
• Completed currency request form
• Original and copy of your national ID
• Exit tax receipt
• Original and copy of your Iranian passport
• Valid mobile number and bank account details
• Original and copy of your airline ticket, stamped by the travel agency

Please note that each traveler can only claim the travel allowance once per year.”
