Service Continuity During Crisis Situations (War and Internet Blackouts)
Continuing services and request follow-ups for Iranians abroad during crises.
Challenges in Processing Requests During Crisis Situations
Continuity of Services for Iranians Abroad Amidst Instability and Internet Disruptions
At Vijegan, we fully understand that one of the primary concerns for our compatriots abroad is the status of communication with Iran during critical situations. News regarding potential conflicts or internet disruptions naturally causes anxiety about the fate of your administrative, academic, real estate, and legal files.

In crisis situations, such as war or internet blackouts, despite limitations in communication and transportation, as long as administrative offices and executive units remain operational, the process of tracking registered requests will continue in a controlled and prioritized manner.
Prioritization Protocol:
Initial Step: Requests previously registered on the Vijegan website or social media that have reached the contract signing and execution stage will be reviewed and ranked based on urgency and importance.
Updates: The case manager for each file will update its status at specific intervals and inform clients about how the work will proceed.
Communication: Despite difficulties, responsiveness via WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram will continue until the internet is cut off. In the event of a blackout, communication will shift to available channels such as landlines and email (if feasible).
Key Points regarding Request Processing:
- Urgency First: In critical conditions, requests deemed “urgent” will be prioritized. Other tasks will be processed based on available capacity and active resources in Tehran and other cities.
- Operational Dependency: As long as government offices and organizations are open and functioning, follow-ups and processing will continue.
- Extended Timelines: Please expect project timelines to be longer than under normal circumstances.
Why Vijegan’s Services Continue Despite Internet Blackouts?
You might assume that if WhatsApp or Instagram goes down, all of Iran shuts down. However, the technical reality is different.
Many of Iran’s administrative, academic, banking, and judicial infrastructures operate on the “National Information Network” (Domestic Intranet). This means even if access to foreign websites is cut:
- University portals remain active for releasing documents.
- Banking and administrative systems continue to function.
- Vijegan’s executive team will pursue your matters in person using access to this internal network.
Therefore, we hope your work processes will not stop; only the method of reporting to you might change slightly.
Alternative Communication Channels (Vijegan’s Plan B)
If standard messengers (like WhatsApp/Telegram) become unavailable, we remain accessible through the following channels:
A) Direct Phone Call (Most Reliable):
Landlines and mobile networks are usually available during internet blackouts. You can stay in touch via direct international calls:
- Office Line: +98 21 8889 5338
- Emergency Line: +98 930 803 3636 (Always On)
B) SMS:
If voice calls are not possible, SMS is the best option. We will notify you of your file status via SMS to your foreign number (if possible) or email.
C) Email:
In unstable internet conditions, email ports may work with delays or via domestic servers. Please check this option and send requests to: info@vijegan.com
Website Availability & Document Security
- Website: Our servers are configured to remain accessible via secure protocols. Check our blog for the latest announcements.
- Data Security: The security of your documents is our red line. All file documentation is archived offline on secure internal systems, and internet fluctuations pose no threat to your data security.
Closing Remarks:
We hope that our beloved Iran always remains in peace and security, and that you never find the need to use these emergency services. However, should difficult days lie ahead, know that our commitment to handling your affairs remains steadfast.
Backed by years of experience in serving compatriots abroad, Vijegan has taken all necessary precautions within its power to ensure that, in the event of unfortunate occurrences in Iran, you experience less anxiety across the borders.
